Gaming, Esports & Streaming Partnerships for Charities

Give your cause a live audience.

Esports & Game Envoys helps charities understand the esports and games ecosystem their intended audiences live and breathe. Games, leagues, teams, streamers, channels and more form a complex tapestry. Only people who have built these ecosystems first-hand can truly understand it, and help newcomers evaluate and navigate it. We help you reach the right people, in the right way, with partners you can trust.

LIVE 01 · THE IDEA

Esports & Game Envoys

Every day, millions of people play their favourite game, watch their favourite streamer, support their favourite esports team, or often all of the above. When that creator or team puts a cause on screen, with a donation goal and a reason to care, their community shows up. Chat cheers every gift. The goal bar fills in real time. Giving becomes something people do together.

Charity streaming and esports fundraising already raise serious money. What most charities lack is both a way in and an understanding of what to do once they're on the inside: the right partners, formats, content, technology and platforms, and the teams, streamers and communities that are right for them to engage with.

LIVE 02 · THE GAP

The Giving Gap

Fewer people are giving, and the drop is steepest among the young. They haven't stopped caring, far from it. They've moved to places where traditional approaches don't find them, or don't engage them in the right way.

LIVE 03 · THE OPPORTUNITY

Sizing The Opportunity

The audience is enormous and the money is already moving. Platforms, payment tools, esports organisations and creators willing to give back all exist. The bottleneck is charities knowing how to use them well.

LIVE 04 · CASE STUDIES

It's Already Working

LIVE 05 · HOW WE HELP

From Strategy To Live

Gaming and esports can't be a one-off stunt, and success is unlikely without a thoughtfully planned, well-executed approach. We help leadership teams decide where (and if) these worlds fit their objectives, open the right doors, design the right approach, then build a programme that keeps returning value year after year.

  1. 01

    Assess

Where can games, esports and streaming move your mission forward: income, awareness, youth engagement, advocacy? We review your audiences, brand and risk appetite against what the ecosystem can realistically deliver.

  2. 02

    Strategy

An approach that fits your wider fundraising and engagement strategy: target audiences, priority partners, formats, budget, KPIs and the governance trustees need to sign off.

  3. 03

    Unlock

We open doors across developers, publishers, league operators, esports teams, pro players, creators and platforms, then vet motivations to make sure everyone involved is in it for the right reasons and understands what success looks like.

  4. 04

    Deliver & Grow

We lead or support your campaigns, from charity streams to tournaments, in-game activations and whatever tactics the strategy unlocks. Then we measure, report and iterate. Along the way, we can build your team's own capability.

LIVE 06 · WHO DRIVES THE ENVOYS

Who Drives The Envoys

Daniel Ringland · Founder

Esports & Game Envoys is led by Daniel Ringland, who has spent fifteen years operating inside games and esports, from grassroots programmes and high school and university leagues to the biggest esports events the industry has ever run. Most recently he was Head of VALORANT Esports EMEA at Riot Games in Berlin. Before that, as Head of Esports and then Country Manager at Riot Games Oceania, he led the Oceanic Pro League's partnership with youth mental health charity headspace.

That means knowing how publishers, esports teams, talent and platforms work, what makes a live show work, and where things break under pressure. The Envoys put that experience to work for causes, without the hype or guesswork charities often meet on their first step into gaming.
